Job description

  • Assists in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, permits, and designs for project.
  • May assist in client contact and communication and attends client meetings.
  • Analyzes reports, maps, drawings, and tests, to plan and design projects.
  • Use computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
  • Accompany Engineers to site visits as needed.
  • Performs other duties as requested.

Barge Design Solutions, Inc. is seeking a motivated Water/Wastewater Engineering Associate to join our growing team in Columbus, GA. In this role, you will take an active part in delivering meaningful infrastructure solutions that directly impact the communities we serve - including exciting work on a Water Treatment Plant design project right here in Columbus., * Bachelor’s degree from accredited program. Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience.

  • Engineer Intern / Engineer in Training Certification required.
  • Working knowledge of Auto Cad, Micro station, and other essential equipment for field and office work.
  • Keeps informed of new methods and developments affecting the organization.
