Job description

We are looking for a skilled Senior Network Engineer with 4+ years of experience in designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, routing and switching, firewalls, wireless networks, VPNs, and network security. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring high network availability, performance, and security across enterprise environments., * Design, implement, configure, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Data Center networks.

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, wireless controllers, and access points.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting of routing, switching, and connectivity issues.
  • Configure and manage Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking technologies.
  • Configure and maintain VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, HSRP, VRRP, and VTP.
  • Implement and troubleshoot routing protocols including OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.
  • Configure and manage VPN technologies including IPSec, SSL VPN, and Site-to-Site VPN.
  • Support firewall administration including Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Check Point firewalls.
  • Configure and troubleshoot NAT, ACLs, DHCP, DNS, QoS, and network security policies.
  • Monitor network performance using SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, or similar monitoring tools.
  • Perform firmware upgrades, patch management, and hardware replacements.
  • Troubleshoot network latency, bandwidth utilization, packet loss, and performance issues.
  • Support SD-WAN environments (Cisco Meraki, Cisco Viptela, Fortinet, Versa, VMware Velocloud, etc.).
  • Manage enterprise wireless infrastructure including Cisco Meraki, Cisco WLC, Aruba, or Ubiquiti.
  • Implement network redundancy and high availability solutions.
  • Collaborate with server, cloud, security, and desktop support teams.
  • Participate in network migration, deployment, and infrastructure upgrade projects.
  • Create and maintain network diagrams, SOPs, and technical documentation.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
  • Provide L2/L3 support and mentor junior network engineers.
  • Participate in on-call support and maintenance activities when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking.
  • Strong experience with Cisco networking solutions.
  • Experience with routing, switching, wireless, and firewalls.
  • Experience supporting large enterprise environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Certifications

  • Cisco CCNP Enterprise
  • Cisco CCNA
  • Cisco DevNet Associate (Preferred)
  • Fortinet NSE
  • Palo Alto PCNSA / PCNSE
  • CompTIA Network+
  • ITIL Foundation
