Job description

Tenacious Solutions, LLC is seeking Senior Solutions Architects to assist clients in the DC Metropolitan area., * Responsible for translating the clients’ business requirements into specific systems, applications, or process designs for very large complex IT solutions and integrating architecture.

  • Provide expertise and guidance on the architecture designed to address client business problems.
  • Analyze and identify all or part of an organization’s existing or new peripheral, network, and telecommunications systems requirements, taking into consideration the special technology needs.
  • Establish functional and technical specifications and standards, solve hardware/software interface problems, define input/output parameters, and ensure integration of the system or subsystem via data exchange methodologies.
  • Participate in technical exchange and governance meetings used to develop, issue, and monitor the implementation of guidance on systems/architectures.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients about what technologies best meet their business needs.
  • Support with management of overall agency IT portfolio including provide recommendations on Target Architecture and selection of new IT into portfolio that is aligned to Target Architecture.
  • Analyze client’s business problems and provide recommendations on what technologies and accompanying processes will solve their issue.
  • Maintain clients’ database with performance analysis tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related subject.
  • A minimum of ten years’ experience working with large data analytics platforms.
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain an Active Public Trust clearance or higher.
  • Full understanding of Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Successfully led software development projects focused on delivering seamless data integration capabilities through desktop, web, and cloud platforms.
  • Proven experience collaborating with program leadership, government officials, customers, and technical teams to provide status updates and address project challenges.
  • Experience leading Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint retrospectives, and backlog refinement and planning sessions.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with collaboration and project management platforms such as Jira and Confluence, as well as data visualization and geospatial analysis tools including Tableau and ArcGIS.
  • Hands-on experience developing software solutions using JAVA and/or the .NET environments, and good understanding of Azure and/or AWS.
  • Ability to understand and design technical solutions.
  • Working knowledge of existing systems and solutions within federal government departments and agencies.
  • Ability to develop project plans and propose project goals, objectives, and tasks to achieve on-time delivery of customer products.
  • Experience developing test cases/scenarios, ensuring consistency in project plans and updates, and conduct testing modules as these are developed.
  • Demonstrated experience with large-scale software implementation projects.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for keeping up with latest software and technology tools and trends.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
