Job description
As a DevOps Engineer, you will help design, build, and maintain cloud-based software systems supporting mission-critical operations. You will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including architecture, design, implementation, testing, automation, and deployment. This position also includes participation in a rotating on-call schedule to support 24/7/365 mission-critical services.
Requirements
We are actively seeking an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer with 11-15 years of relevant experience to support a 200+ FTE technical development program delivering modern Identity Access Credential Management (ICAM) solutions. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree and an active Top Secret (TS/SCI) Clearance with Polygraph., Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) Clearance with Polygraph Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution 11-15 years of relevant DevOps or Software Engineering experience Expert-level Linux operating system experience Expert knowledge of DevOps tools including Jenkins, GitHub, and Rundeck Extensive experience across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using DevOps practices Experience with software testing tools such as JUnit Experience working within Agile software development environments Experience scripting and administering AWS cloud services including: CloudFormation, EC2, S3, RDS & VPC Experience with containerization technologies including: Docker, Amazon EKS & Amazon ECS Experience establishing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines Experience administering Nexus repositories Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience using version control systems Experience using issue and problem tracking systems Experience with JIRA and Confluence Experience deploying, orchestrating, and scaling containerized applications in production Knowledge of container registries and container security best practices Ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule supporting mission-critical systems Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Elastic Stack tools Experience working within Sponsor cloud environments Additional Nexus administration and maintenance experience Experience leading enterprise-scale DevOps initiatives supporting secure cloud environments
