Job description
Düsseldorf, 40589 What you´ll do
- Define and implement access control policies and procedures
- Create and implement security processes and procedures
- Define and assign user roles and permissions within cloud environment
- Generate compliance reports
- Monitor and audit system access activities
- Respond to security incidents and breaches
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of dedicated experience in security and access management, specifically within an HRIS environment (preferably Workday).
- Deep understanding of the Workday Security model, including hands-on experience configuring Role-Based, User-Based, and Intersection Security Groups.
- HCM Architecture: You don’t just “assign access”; you understand how Workday operates. You are proficient in managing Domain and Business Process Security Policies and know how they impact the end-user experience.
- Strategic Mindset: You have experience designing and switching operating models (e.g., transitioning from decentralized to centralized security) and can advise on the best security structure for a global implementation.
- HR Business Savvy: You possess a solid background in HR processes. You understand the sensitivity of PII and how security configuration must align with HR lifecycles (Hire, Move, Leave).
- Technical Foundation: You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, HR Management, or a related field.
- Problem-Solver & Communicator: You can analyze and mitigate security risks while translating technical “Workday-speak” into clear insights for HR stakeholders in fluent English.
