Job description

We are looking for an AI Software Engineer to join our development team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between traditional software engineering and artificial intelligence. You will not focus on training foundational models from scratch. Instead, you will integrate, orchestrate, and scale AI-driven capabilities-such as Large Language Models (LLMs) and semantic search-into production-grade enterprise software., * AI Application Integration: Embed pre-trained foundational models (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source models) into web and enterprise applications using APIs and microservices.

  • Context & Data Pipelines: Design and maintain Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, semantic search layers, and vector data workflows.
  • Orchestration & Agents: Construct multi-step AI orchestration chains, agentic workflows, and automated self-repairing coding harnesses.
  • AI Evaluations & Testing: Build automated evaluation frameworks to quantify AI accuracy, minimize model hallucination, and run error metrics.
  • Backend Development: Write production-ready backend code, design robust RESTful APIs, and manage data layers.
  • Guardrails & Security: Implement system safety rules, data privacy guardrails, and prompt tracking to protect user data and shield against vulnerabilities., * This position is primarily performed in a home office or other approved remote work environment. The employee is expected to maintain a safe, secure, and distraction-free workspace with reliable internet access. Duties primarily involve prolonged periods of sitting, working on a computer, and communicating via phone and video conferencing.
  • The employee must be able to frequently use a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipment, as well as communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, and business partners. Occasional lifting of office materials or equipment up to 15 pounds may be required.

Travel : Occasional travel may be required for meetings, training, or business needs (up to 10%).

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Proven track record of shipping functional, AI-driven components or workflows into a production environment.
  • Experience working on high-concurrency public web applications
  • Experience implementing industry best practices as they relate to code construction and web application security
  • Experience with agile development environments and Scrum methodology a plus
  • Business domain experience in e-commerce and/or back-office applications a plus
  • Experience writing unit tests in an MVC environment a plus

  • AI & LLM Ecosystem : Experience using frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex , or the Hugging Face ecosystem.
  • Data Infrastructure : Strong knowledge of relational databases (MSSQL).
  • Core Software Engineering : Mastery of asynchronous programming, automated testing (unit/integration), Git version control, and system design patterns.
