Full Stack Developer

If you want to be part of building a product from the ground up and have a voice in how best to build it, we should have a conversation., “We” are currently a team of one that is bootstrapping this platform together during spare time and weekends. We are looking for someone that has experience as a full-stack developer that is excited to develop a product from the ground up and expedite our timeline towards an initial product. While this is a part-time position, the goal is for this position to quickly grow into full-time. The person that fills this position will need to be a motivated individual that can take a list of outstanding features and develop them into a finished product. This position should have a desire to build systems the right way without cutting corners. This person should have strong communication skills in order to break down complex problems into simple conversations.

• Education: BS in Computer Science
• Experience: 7+ years as a Software Engineer
• Languages: Relational databases (tSQL within SSMS), node.js, HTML, CSS, + bootstrap, JavaScript
• Other Platforms: GitHub, Azure Cloud

At a high level, we’re building a web-based platform that will increase operational efficiencies across all large apartment complexes. Property management continues to be a low-tech industry that operates through the adage, “that’s how it’s always been done.” We have the opportunity to change that by developing this tool.

Currently, there is a proof of concept built using the languages listed above but I need the person filling this position to develop the product for commercial use. This isn’t your typical start-up elevator speech, but if any of this sounds appealing, let’s talk.

Pay: $60.00 - $75.00 per hour
