Desktop Java Developer

• Maintain and enhance existing Java desktop analysis applications and custom C# and Java tools
• Help architect the next generation of data analysis and visualization software
• Build software using disciplined class structures - from low-level data access to processing and UI display
• Collaborate with a tight-knit development team to deliver new features and project releases
• Organize and maintain code in Git repositories
• Work across both desktop and server-side environments
• Take direction well, ask questions, and contribute positively to team culture
• Perform additional related tasks as needed

• Strong working knowledge of Java or C#
• Experience with SQL databases in an Agile development environment
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines, * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Software Development
• Minimum 6 years of related professional experience
• Familiarity with modern software development practices
• Strong reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Experience contributing to project proposals, system architecture, schedules, and milestones

Preferred

• Previous ILI tool experience
• Strong math background
