Job description
The SAP NORAM Lead is the primary IT partner for North America, responsible for SAP application ownership, business process optimization, operational support, and strategic transformation initiatives across Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing, and Distribution functions. This role will lead regional SAP initiatives, drive business value realization, and serve as the North America lead for the SAP (SAP RISE/S/4HANA) transformation program., * Serve as the single point of contact for SAP applications and business processes across North America.
- Lead SAP projects, enhancements, upgrades, integrations, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Drive regional business readiness and execution for the SAP (SAP RISE/S/4HANA) migration, including process harmonization, testing, cutover planning, training, and adoption.
- Own and support key business processes across SAP IBP, SD, MM, FI/CO, Logistics, Distribution, and Commercial Operations.
- Lead SAP IBP planning capabilities, including demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, and S&OP processes.
- Partner with business leaders to identify process improvement, automation, and digital transformation opportunities.
- Manage IT engagement with 3PL providers, ensuring seamless order fulfillment, inventory management, logistics, and distribution operations.
- Coordinate with Corporate IT, SAP CoE, implementation partners, and managed services teams to deliver regional and global SAP initiatives.
- Provide hands-on support, troubleshooting, user training, and issue resolution for business-critical SAP processes.
- Ensure compliance with GxP, validation, audit, security, and regulatory requirements in a pharmaceutical environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 8+ years of SAP experience with strong expertise in SAP IBP, SD, MM, and FI/CO.
- Proven experience leading SAP implementations, upgrades, and ERP transformation programs.
- Hands-on experience with SAP RISE, S/4HANA migrations, or large-scale SAP transformation initiatives.
- Experience supporting Commercial, Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Finance functions.
- Experience managing 3PL integrations and external vendors.
- Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or other regulated industry experience required.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and project leadership skills.
