Job description
Currently seeking to hire an experienced Solutions Architect to join the Diplomatic Security Cyber Mission Program, delivering leading cyber and technology security expertise to enable innovative, effective, and secure business processes.
As a Solutions Architect, you will serve as a trusted technical leaderresponsible for designing and advancing enterprise securityarchitectures that support complex Federal and national securityenvironments.
Responsibilities
- Define, design, and evolve enterprise security architectures andcybersecurity solutions.
- Partner with Application, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Data teams toimplement secure, scalable, and resilient technologies.
- Establish and maintain security standards, policies, frameworks,and technical guidance across the enterprise.
- Lead security architecture reviews, risk assessments, complianceevaluations, and remediation efforts.
- Develop and maintain Security Risk Management Plans aligned tomission objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovativesecurity capabilities to enhance organizational security posture.
- Author technical recommendations, architecture documentation,and executive-level briefings for stakeholders.
- Support compliance with Federal cybersecurity frameworks andsecurity regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems,Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline and aminimum of 14 years’ of relevant experience.
- An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieuof the bachelors degree requirement.
- Must either possess and maintain, or obtain prior to start date, oneof the following professional certifications:
- CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional
- Security+ - CompTIA Security+
- Net+ - CompTIA Network+
- A+ - CompTIA A+
- MCP - Microsoft Certified Professional
- MCSE - Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
- CCNA - Cisco Certified Network Associate
- MCSA - Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate
- Active Secret security clearance (Ability to obtain a final Top Secret security clearance)., * Experience conducting industry and peer security reviews.
- Demonstrated ability to author white papers, technicalrecommendations, or security architecture documentation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to brief technical andexecutive audiences.
- Prior experience in Federal or DoD cybersecurity programs.
- CISM Certification
- CCSP Certification
