Job description
We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET (C#) Application Developer / Analyst to support the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of a mission-critical enterprise application. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC, REST APIs, SQL Server, and the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and develop technical solutions.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using C# and .NET technologies.
- Build and enhance RESTful APIs and system integrations.
- Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Troubleshoot application issues and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Prepare technical documentation and follow Agile/Scrum best practices.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in C# and .NET development.
- Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC, .NET Framework/.NET Core.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
- Strong SQL Server experience.
- Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Experience with Git or Azure DevOps.
- Strong SDLC, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Skills
- Enterprise application development experience.
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD.
- Government, Transportation, or Public Sector project experience is a plus.
Important (Must-Have)
Candidates must have hands-on experience with Crash Reporting Systems and MMUCC (Model Minimum Uniform Crash Criteria). Experience working on crash reporting applications, crash data validation, or transportation projects is required.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Work Arrangement
- Hybrid initially; position will transition to 100% Onsite in Lincoln, NE.
- In-person interview is mandatory.

Benefits & conditions
Pay: $50.00 - $52.00 per hour
