Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability across various systems and platforms. • Automate deployment processes using scripting languages like Python and Bash, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with tools such as Terraform.
• Maintain and optimize container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Monitor system performance using IT monitoring tools; troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Develop and implement DevSecOps practices to enhance security within CI/CD pipelines and automate security checks.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate APIs and facilitate seamless application deployment within cloud infrastructure.
• Conduct technical troubleshooting support for complex system issues across various platforms.
• Manage cloud infrastructure resources efficiently while adhering to best practices in security and cost management.
• Lead projects related to system upgrades, migrations, or new implementations following Agile methodologies.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and incident reports to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance.

• Proven experience in system administration across multiple operating systems including Linux, Windows, and cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
• Strong knowledge of DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automation tools like Terraform, and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools to manage cloud infrastructure efficiently.
• Experience with performance monitoring tools and technical troubleshooting support for complex IT issues.
• Project management experience in technology projects utilizing Agile methodologies.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components including servers, networks, APIs, databases (e.g., Oracle), and operating systems.
• Knowledge of DevOps automation techniques to streamline SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to communicate technical information clearly across teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications are advantageous.
