Yellow Duck Technologies is seeking an expert-level Embedded Systems Engineer with 12+ years of experience in analyzing, developing, and leading embedded systems projects. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in embedded assembly languages such as ARM, PPC, and MIPS, with a strong background in researching and developing within embedded environments like VxWorks, ELDK, or custom operating systems. This role requires technical leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to coordinate with customers to define milestones and drive complex tasks to completion. The candidate must be self-motivated, capable of leading teams, and comfortable working on highly technical, mission-driven projects., * Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
- 12+ years of experience analyzing and developing embedded systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Extensive experience with embedded assembly languages.
- Proficiency in Python, C, and Assembly (ASM) development.
- Strong understanding of embedded environments.
- Familiarity with debugging tools.
- Ability to lead technical teams and coordinate with customers on research initiatives.
- Experience breaking down complex problems into structured milestones.
- Self-driven researcher with a track record of successfully completing highly technical, mission-critical tasks.
