Job description

This position is responsible for developing high-volume, mission-critical web applications using ASP.NET MVC, AngularJS, Web API, and SQL Server. The role is primarily focused on hands-on software development utilizing Microsoft technologies.

The successful candidate will be able to organize workload effectively, prioritize competing tasks, work collaboratively within Agile teams, mentor junior developers, and serve as a technical resource between business stakeholders and the development team., * Develop enterprise web applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, AngularJS, and SQL Server.

  • Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Agile Scrum methodologies.
  • Perform requirements analysis, software design, prototyping, programming, debugging, testing, and production support.
  • Participate in technical design and implementation.
  • Proactively identify and communicate issues related to quality, system performance, or architecture.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and business stakeholders.
  • Develop, debug, and deliver enterprise applications.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, self-directed approach to solving technical problems.
  • Mentor fellow developers in areas of expertise.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software development experience using C#/.NET.
  • 3+ years of experience developing web applications using ASP.NET.
  • Experience with ASP.NET MVC is preferred.
  • Experience building multi-tier applications for high-volume systems.
  • SQL Server experience required.
  • Entity Framework experience preferred.
  • Experience with AngularJS or a similar client-side framework preferred.
  • Experience developing REST Web APIs preferred.
  • Experience with load-balancing technologies is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Senior Software Engineer (Preferred):

  • 2+ additional years of C#/.NET/ASP.NET development experience.
  • Advanced degree or technical training in a related field preferred.

Lead Software Engineer (Preferred):

  • 1+ additional years of C#/.NET/ASP.NET development experience.
  • Previous experience leading software development teams.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
