Job description

Design, build, test, and maintain enterprise software solutions following SDLC and architectural standards.
Develop full-stack applications using Java/Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, and React or Angular.
Translate business, functional, and technical requirements into scalable and maintainable software solutions.
Collaborate directly with portfolio managers, traders, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate technical solutions.
Configure, customize, troubleshoot, and enhance enterprise applications while ensuring quality delivery.
Lead code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior developers.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation following organizational standards.
Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as Amazon Q, GitHub Copilot, or Kiro to improve development efficiency and code quality.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on Java development experience using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
5+ years of experience building Microservices and RESTful APIs using Java or Python.
Experience deploying applications as AWS Lambda functions or containerized workloads.
Strong experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar RDBMS, including writing complex SQL queries, joins, DML, and DDL statements.
Experience with Docker, Git/GitHub, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or CloudBees.
Working knowledge of AWS services including EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and KMS.
3+ years of experience with GitLab, Jira, and Terraform.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with portfolio managers, traders, and other investment professionals., * 5+ years of experience working within Asset Management technology.
Experience with Portfolio Management Systems (PMS), Order Management Systems (OMS), or similar investment platforms.
3+ years of experience supporting Fixed Income securities, including bonds, derivatives, or structured products.
Front-end development experience using React or Angular.
Familiarity with AWS services such as ELB, EKS, Glacier, and other cloud-native technologies.
Experience researching emerging technologies and leading proof-of-concept initiatives.
Comfortable working with open-source technologies and cloud-native architectures.
