Senior Data Scientist

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist II to join a collaborative team of data scientists, engineers, and product professionals dedicated to developing intelligent, reliable, and responsible AI-powered solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on advanced Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agentic AI applications that deliver impactful outcomes for end users., As a Senior Data Scientist II, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing AI-driven systems that support complex drafting, search, and reasoning workflows. You will focus on improving retrieval quality, evaluation methodologies, and production-grade machine learning solutions while partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver measurable improvements in relevance, accuracy, and user experience., * Design, develop, and optimize Generative AI, RAG, and agentic AI solutions for knowledge retrieval, content generation, and reasoning use cases.

• Improve AI-generated outputs through prompt engineering, retrieval optimization, experimentation, and performance evaluation.
• Build and maintain scalable machine learning and data science components for production environments.
• Develop and enhance retrieval pipelines, including query understanding, document retrieval, ranking, reranking, and grounding techniques.
• Apply information retrieval and relevance tuning methodologies using enterprise search technologies.
• Leverage embeddings, semantic search, hybrid retrieval, and reranking approaches to improve answer quality and system effectiveness.
• Write clean, maintainable, and production-ready Python code following software engineering best practices.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, data science, and domain experts to deliver high-quality AI solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of AI systems through testing, monitoring, and performance optimization.

• Deep understanding of information retrieval concepts, text search methodologies, and retrieval architectures.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise search platforms and relevance tuning.
• Experience with embeddings, semantic retrieval, reranking techniques, and relevance optimization strategies.
• Strong software development practices, including version control, code reviews, and collaborative development environments.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and contribute to deployment and continuous integration workflows.
