As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will provide technical leadership and strategic insight into enterprise schedule management and risk activities supporting CGPMO. You will collaborate with government and contractor teams to develop visualization tools, assess program achievability, analyze risks and dependencies, and support systems integration efforts. Your expertise will help leadership make informed decisions that improve program execution and mission outcomes., * Collaborate with government leadership and enterprise scheduling SMEs to develop and maintain tools that visualize schedule management and risk data.
- Design and implement approaches to integrate data from architecture, release management, and related program offices.
- Ensure visualization and management tools incorporate appropriate security controls and access restrictions.
- Assess program schedules, dependencies, critical paths, risks, and overall enterprise schedule health.
- Provide programmatic and technical status updates to government, program, and team leadership.
- Develop and deliver technical briefings to internal teams and senior government stakeholders.
- Support systems integration activities across new and existing capabilities.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with senior government personnel and mission partners.
- Lead the development of systems engineering documentation, reports, plans, and records.
- Identify and manage cross-project dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Clearly communicate complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements
Are you an experienced systems engineer with a passion for solving complex mission challenges? Mission Intelligence Group is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support NGA’s Compartmented GEOINT Program Management Office (CGPMO), helping drive enterprise schedule management, risk analysis, and systems integration efforts that support critical national security missions. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside government and industry leaders to improve visibility into program health, risks, dependencies, and mission execution across a complex enterprise environment., * Active TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI eligibility and successfully pass a polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree in:
- Systems Engineering
- Engineering
- Physics
- Mathematics
- Operations Research
- Engineering Management
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Management Information Systems
- Related STEM discipline
- 12+ years of experience in government or industry supporting one or more of the following:
- DoD/IC Acquisition Processes
- Requirements Processes
- PPBES Processes
- Systems engineering for large, complex System of Systems environments
- Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) or Cloud environments
- Demonstrated experience throughout the systems engineering lifecycle.
- Experience managing system interfaces and performing end-to-end systems integration.
- Experience with scheduling and planning tools, including:
- Microsoft Project
- Primavera
- Experience using:
- JIRA
- VBA
- Experience developing and managing:
- Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
- Activities and task tracking
- Milestones and deliverables
- Dependencies and risks
- Experience evaluating and integrating emerging technologies into operational environments.
- Demonstrated project management and/or technical team leadership experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting NGA, GEOINT, Intelligence Community, or Department of Defense programs.
- Advanced expertise in enterprise schedule management and risk analysis.
- Experience developing data visualization and reporting solutions for executive stakeholders.
- Knowledge of architecture management, release management, and program integration activities.
- Experience supporting large-scale, complex acquisition or modernization programs.
- Strong briefing and presentation skills with senior government leadership.
- Familiarity with schedule performance metrics, program health assessments, and achievability analysis.
- Experience working in highly collaborative multi-contractor environments.
