Job description

The SOC Analyst is responsible for monitoring, triaging, and responding to cybersecurity alerts as part of the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). This role supports the cybersecurity operations of Japanese business units during U.S. daytime hours and requires strong collaboration with global teams. Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese, along with cultural fluency, is essential., Monitor security alerts and events across multiple systems and environments Triage alerts and determine appropriate escalation based on severity and impact Execute established security playbooks and procedures Document incidents, findings, and actions taken in a clear and timely manner Collaborate with global GSOC teams following established operating models Support ongoing cybersecurity operations for Japan-related business activities Identify potential threats and suspicious activities through continuous monitoring Assist in improving detection and response processes Maintain awareness of security frameworks such as NIST and MITRE ATT&CK Communicate effectively with stakeholders in both English and Japanese

Working Hours, Working style Shift-based schedule (10-hour shifts)

Tempe Time 12:00PM - 10:00PM Sunday - Wednesday or Wed - Sat (3:00 PM - 1:00 AM EST)

Requirements

SOC Analyst - Bilingual (English - Japanese), Experience in SOC operations (Tier 1 or Tier 2 preferred) Experience in monitoring, triaging, and escalating security alerts Familiarity with incident response processes and security operations workflows Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST and MITRE ATT&CK Experience in financial services or regulated environments preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to follow structured processes and playbooks Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese with strong cultural understanding, * Are you proficient in the Japanese language? ( Intermediate level or higher)

  • Do you have 1-2 years of prior experience in Cyber security?
  • Do you have Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s (Preferred)
