Job description
In a demanding and innovative international environment, you will play a key role in the development, optimization, and refinement of glass melting processes on development production lines.
Positioned at the interface between the Research Center and manufacturing teams, you will help transform R&D concepts and developments into robust, safe, and scalable industrial processes.
In this role, your main responsibilities will include:

Defining, preparing, and leading process trials on development production lines, primarily at the Bagneaux-sur-Loing site.

Developing and optimizing melting process parameters in line with technical objectives, quality requirements, and industrial feasibility.

Analyzing trial results, process performance, and sources of variation to identify and implement appropriate corrective actions.

Acting as the technical interface between Research, Manufacturing Operations, Quality, Process Engineering, and Equipment teams.

Contributing to the evaluation of new glass compositions, operating conditions, and melting concepts.

Documenting learnings, capturing key results, and supporting the preparation of technology transfer to manufacturing.

Ensuring technical rigor in testing activities, data traceability, and compliance with safety requirements.
Requirements
We are seeking a graduate engineer in Process Engineering, Materials Science, Thermal Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field, with initial successful experience in an industrial or development environment, ideally involving thermal processes, glass melting, glass manufacturing, or high-temperature materials.
You combine strong analytical skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to work at the interface between Research and Manufacturing within a demanding technical environment.
Key Skills and Qualifications:

Good understanding of thermal processes and melting phenomena.

Ability to analyze interactions between materials, processes, and equipment,

Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.

Experience with industrial trials, process development, process optimization, or technology transfer is a plus.

Ability to work cross-functionally with R&D, Operations, and Engineering teams.Fluent English is essential.
