Senior Java Engineer

Remote (UK) with occasional travel to meet. £70,000 - £90,000 + Benefits

We’re partnering with a profitable, growing B2B SaaS business that’s entering an exciting new phase of product development. They’re investing heavily in AI-driven features and are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help shape the future of their platform.

This is a hands-on role within a small, experienced engineering team where you’ll have genuine ownership, work closely with the CTO, and influence both technical direction and engineering practices.

The Role

• Design and build scalable backend services using Java & Spring Boot
• Develop secure REST APIs and cloud-based applications
• Contribute to React development where required
• Drive engineering quality through testing, automation and best practice
• Use modern AI development tools to improve delivery and productivity

What We’re Looking For

• Strong commercial experience with Java & Spring Boot
• Experience building REST APIs and scalable applications
• Solid SQL and AWS knowledge
• Comfortable working across the stack, including React
• Passion for clean code, ownership and continuous improvement
