Job description
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all Workday-related issues, troubleshooting, and resolving defects with testing, configurations, and integrations.
- Take ownership of the Workday platform, ensuring all systems are functioning correctly and meeting business needs.
- Train end-users on Workday functionality and provide ongoing support and guidance.
- Work closely with the HRIS team and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions to enhance system performance.
- Convert business requirements into technical specifications and configure Workday accordingly.
- Test production changes and updates to ensure they meet quality standards and do not impact system functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new reports and functionalities as needed.
- Provide suggestions for process improvements and optimize Workday workflows to increase efficiency.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Workday, staying up-to-date on new features and functionalities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Workday system administration or analysis, with a focus on implementation and post-implementation support.
- Strong technical skills and understanding of Workday configurations, integrations, and reporting.
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving defects in a Workday environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in an enterprise environment is preferred.
- Workday certification is not required but is a plus.
