Job description

Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AI application deployments using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.

  • Containerize and deploy Python-based AI services (FastAPI backends, LLM inference services) using Docker and Azure Container Apps.

  • Manage container image lifecycle via Azure Container Registry - build, tag, scan, and promote images across dev, staging, and production environments.

  • Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Azure Bicep): Container Apps, PostgreSQL Flexible Server, Blob Storage, Key Vault, and AI Search.

  • Manage secrets and credentials securely using Azure Key Vault - enforce zero hardcoded credentials across all deployments.

  • Set up and maintain observability stacks: Azure Monitor, Application Insights, log analytics, and alerting tailored for AI services.

  • Provision and manage database services: Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Neo4j AuraDB, and Azure Blob Storage for AI workloads.

  • Implement deployment strategies including blue-green deployments, rolling updates, and rollback procedures for LLM-based services.

  • Optimize container performance and cost: right-sizing, autoscaling configuration, and resource governance.

  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure production-readiness of AI applications before go-live.

Requirements

Role Description: The DevOps Engineer must have 5-6 years of experience. As a DevOps Engineer, you must have strong Azure expertise and experience deploying AI-powered applications in production.

The ideal candidate can containerize, deploy, and monitor LLM-based services and agentic systems- managing infrastructure such as code, secrets, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native compute on Azure., 5-6 years of DevOps/ Cloud infrastructure experience with at least 2 years on Azure.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Docker and container-based deployments on Azure Container Apps or AKS.

  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code: Terraform or Azure Bicep.

  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines on Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

  • Hands-on experience with core Azure services: Container Apps, Container Registry, Key Vault, Blob Storage, PostgreSQL Flexible Server, Azure Monitor, and Application Insights.

  • Experience managing secrets, access policies, and RBAC in Azure environments.

  • Understanding of AI / LLM application deployment patterns - model serving, API gateway, and environment-specific configuration.

  • Kubernetes (AKS) experience is a strong plus.

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
