Experteer Overview As a Senior Data Platform Engineer at Ebury Madrid, you will help design, build, and maintain a scalable data platform that powers company-wide insights.You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to translate data needs into robust solutions, drive adoption of new technologies, and uphold data governance and security.The role sits in a fast-paced data team focused on open-source oriented, robust data infrastructure.You will shape how data enables global growth and impactful decision-making.Compensaciones / Beneficios- Oversee design, development, and maintenance of a robust data platform used across the company- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data needs into actionable insights- Drive innovation by evaluating and adopting emerging data technologies- Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards for data quality and securityResponsabilidades- Python proficiency for data transformation and validation- SQL proficiency for querying large datasets with structured and unstructured sources- Data engineering and modelling skills (SCDs, dimensional modelling)- Graph database modelling encouraged- Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and cloud platforms, designing and implementing scalable data solutions- Experience with GCP tools/services (BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions)- Fluency in English (Spanish a plus)- Self-motivated and curious, able to grow in a fast-paced environmentRequisitos principales- competitive salary and benefits package- discretionary bonus based on performance- professional development through training and certification- Open Source friendly environment- hybrid Madrid office model

Requirements

SQL proficiency for querying large datasets with structured and unstructured sources

  • Data engineering and modelling skills (SCDs, dimensional modelling)
  • Graph database modelling encouraged
  • Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and cloud platforms, designing and implementing scalable data solutions
  • Experience with GCP tools/services (BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions)
  • Fluency in English (Spanish a plus)
