Our client is a highly regarded fintech delivering web-native collaboration and workflow technology to investment operations teams across the global financial markets.They’re already trusted by hundreds of financial institutions worldwide, and the platform supports critical functions such as securities settlements, corporate actions and collateral management.The business operates with the backing of a major financial market infrastructure provider, while retaining the pace and mindset of a modern fintech.The RoleAs a Software Engineer, you’ll join a small, highly capable engineering team shaping the future of a mission-critical platform.You’ll design and build new capabilities that improve how financial institutions operate, working end-to-end across the development lifecycle.Engineers here are full-stack generalists who value clean design, quality engineering and a strong DevOps culture.You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues in an agile environment, gaining exposure to all parts of the system and having real influence over technical decisions.What You’ll DoDesign, develop and maintain server-side Java applicationsContribute from requirements through to production deploymentBuild reliable, scalable solutions in collaboration with your teamParticipate in code reviews, testing and continuous integrationSupport operational excellence through DevOps practicesWhat You’ll Bring3-5+ years’ experience in server-side Java developmentStrength in at least three areas such as web technologies, messaging, data modelling, security, concurrency or performance tuningA strong focus on testing, reliability and qualityExperience working in small, productive Agile/Scrum teamsWorking knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.G.
