Job description

  • Lead and execute deployments of Sectra’s Enterprise Imaging software, databases, and related tools
  • Configure integrations with third-party systems including PACS, EMRs, modalities, dictation systems, and AI platforms
  • Collaborate with project managers, healthcare IT teams, and customers to ensure successful implementations
  • Support and lead data migration activities during project transitions
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform diagnostics remotely or on-site
  • Deliver technical training sessions and mentor junior team members
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within deployment processes
  • Occasionally work outside of standard hours to support go-lives and critical implementations

Requirements

We’re looking for a PACS Implementation Engineer to join Sectra. This role is ideal for someone with 5-10 years of experience in system deployment, configuration, or technical implementation within healthcare IT. You’ll play a critical role in installing, configuring, and optimizing Sectra’s Enterprise Imaging solutions, helping hospitals and health systems deliver better care through smarter technology., * Have 5-10 years of experience deploying or supporting complex enterprise software systems, ideally within healthcare IT

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field - or equivalent technical experience
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of PACS, DICOM, and system architecture in a medical imaging environment
  • Have experience with Windows Server environments, virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, or Azure), and network configurations (VPN, DNS, firewalls, routing)
  • Be skilled in installing, configuring, and upgrading enterprise software applications
  • Have working knowledge of databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar) and basic scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
  • Be confident leading technical deployments and customer discussions independently
  • Be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects
  • Be willing to work occasional off-hours to support customer go-lives or urgent system needs, * Prior experience deploying or administering PACS, RIS, or VNA solutions in a healthcare environment
  • Familiarity with cloud-hosted infrastructure or hybrid deployment models
  • Understanding of security best practices (data encryption, certificates, VPN tunnels, authentication protocols)
  • Experience with data migrations, system upgrades, or disaster recovery planning
  • Exposure to Linux-based servers or containerized environments
  • Experience providing technical training or customer onboarding sessions

  • The salary range for this position is $95,000-$125,000, based on experience and qualifications
