Job description

Need a Power BI with ThoughtSpot platforms in AWS. In addition, you will be working on extracting and analyzing raw data from multiple large and complex SQL and other data sources using mainly Power BI and ThoughtSpot reporting platforms. Also, you will be assisting the internal users with any development issues., * Responsible for working with our Enterprise BI Team and Deploying the Power BI Gateways & ThoughtSpot Platforms in Cloud (AWS).

  • Helping with identifying processes and tasks that can be automated with internal tools. Will also be directly responsible for building these tools.
  • Deploy & Manage AWS resources such as EC2 instances and RDS.
  • Deliver successful end-to-end technical architecture to meet client’s business objectives and BI/Analytics requirements
  • Power BI development and administration.
  • Work collaboratively with team members including project managers, solution architects, and business analysts
  • Create a data model for BI/Analytics needs that will help the customer answer business questions for the identified use case
  • Design relevant ThoughtSpot artifacts (worksheets, searches and pinboards) that will help drive desired end-user experience
  • Establish working relationships with the various Business units

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other field demonstrating technical expertise is preferred
  • 3+ years ‘experience in the BI Platforms (Power BI, ThoughtSpot) and a strong background with BI development skillsets.
  • 1 year of experience with ThoughtSpot
  • A minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience with designing, architect, and leading technical implementations.
  • 2-3 years of experience in AWS (Cloud) Technology, Strong understanding of core AWS services, uses, and basic AWS architecture best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing ecosystem (e.g. Data sources / ETL / Data warehouse / Data marts). Understanding of different types of schemas (OLTP vs. OLAP, snowflake, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and Linux
  • Proficient in documenting and communicating ideas clearly
