Requirements

Computer science and AI/ML researchers can leverage their expertise to support AI research through flexible, hourly contract work. This role involves evaluating AI-generated content and providing feedback that enhances AI’’s understanding of advanced computer science and AI/ML research methodologies. This ongoing, project-based opportunity allows you to engage in work alongside other commitments. You will utilize your research expertise to create expert-level training data and assess the accuracy and relevance of AI-generated responses. No prior AI experience is necessary. Details This position is fully remote, offering a flexible, asynchronous schedule with no minimum hour requirement. Most contributors typically work between 5 to 20 hours per week when involved in an active project. Placement in projects is contingent upon current needs, with opportunities for future projects as they arise. Qualifications

  • PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field from a top 100 US university
  • Research background in areas such as:

  • Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence
  • Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, or Neural and Evolutionary Computing
  • Robotics, Systems and Control, or Multiagent Systems
  • Familiarity with arxiv.org, particularly the Computing Research Repository (cs)
  • Strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and asynchronously with AI research teams

Benefits & conditions

Work Terms This role is part-time and fully remote, allowing for a flexible schedule. Compensation Up to $75/hr (depending on the project). Eligibility F-1 students eligible for CPT or OPT may qualify for projects. Consult your Designated School Official to confirm eligibility. Note that if your school mandates a CPT course, this role may not fulfill those requirements. STEM OPT is not supported. For more details on work authorization, refer to the Help Center article.
