Job description

As an IT Security Specialist I, you will support information security operations and security compliance activities at the business site based on company-wide security policies and standards. This role is responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of information security programs, assisting with security risk management activities, supporting audits, and helping strengthen security awareness and culture across the organization.

You will collaborate with headquarters, IT teams, and business operations to support security initiatives, operational continuity, and compliance with company information security requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Support information security operations and compliance activities in alignment with company-wide security policies and standards
  • Assist with reporting activities and communication with headquarters regarding information security operations and initiatives
  • Support implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of business site information security plans and procedures
  • Assist with responding to information security incidents, risks, and operational security issues
  • Identify and support evaluation of business site security risks and assist with corrective actions and improvement initiatives
  • Support regular information security audits and compliance assessments while assisting with corrective action tracking
  • Assist with maintaining and improving business site information security practices and awareness
  • Collaborate with IT, production, engineering, and operational teams to support secure system operations
  • Support data analysis and production system-related projects as needed
  • Follow LGESMI existing cleaning SOPs during downtime, including cleaning designated machines and surrounding work areas\
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Maintain cleanliness at the worksite in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
  • Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
  • Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, or related field required, or equivalent relevant experience

Experience:

  • 1-3+ years of experience in Information Technology, Information Security, Manufacturing Systems, or related field
  • Experience supporting data analysis projects or production system projects preferred
  • Manufacturing environment experience preferred

Skills:

  • Basic understanding of information security principles and IT systems
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to support multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and general IT systems
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support production operations, headquarters, and global sites
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams
  • Bilingual Korean/English preferred
