Job description

The Software Engineer will primarily engineer solutions to software issues by integrating developed software functions. Additionally, he or she will be responsible for testing and maintaining the functionality software. The Software Engineer will also acquire reporting tools to collaborate with other departments in the organization such as Finance or Production. Often, the Software Engineer will be tasked with producing code that is efficient and testable. For this job, the Software Engineer will report directly to a director and senior management., * The main job of the Salt Lake City Software Engineer is to identify and prepare solutions to software issues by integrating developed software functions.

The position will be tasked with testing and maintaining the functionality of the software.
The Salt Lake City Software Engineer will also create reporting tools to work cross-functionally with other departments within the organization such as finance or production.
Frequently, the Software Engineer will be responsible for producing code that is efficient and testable.
There is no travel out Salt Lake City, Utah that is required for this job.
This role will take on any other jobs as assigned by the Software Engineering Manager.

Requirements

A four-year degree in an engineering-focused field from a 4-year university.
Demonstrated experience with management in a manufacturing setting.
Experience with developing relevant software.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects.
