Senior Network Engineer - CONUS

OBXtek is currently seeking a Senior Network Engineer (CONUS). In support of a Network Engineers and Specialists Support (NE&S) project for DHA., * Serve as the premier network SME for the program supporting CONUS and enterprise operations.

• Lead design, configuration, sustainment, and troubleshooting of LAN/WLAN/WAN environments.
• Provide escalation support for complex network outages and performance issues.
• Mentor and technically lead Referral Network Engineers, Associates, and Specialists.
• Implement and maintain network security controls, firewalls, VPNs, and Zero Trust architectures.
• Develop and update standards, SOPs, and technical documentation.
• Support RMF/ATO activities, vulnerability remediation, and compliance efforts.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline OR technical/vocational education with additional experience.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years (degree) or 10 years (non-degree) Enterprise Network Engineering experience.
• Extensive experience with Cisco infrastructure, SolarWinds, ARMIS, Ansible, and enterprise routing/switching.
• Exprience with OTDR and Cable Testing.
• Experience supporting DoD healthcare systems (e.g., MHS GENESIS).

Certifications

• IAM Level III (DoD 8570 / 8140 compliant)
• CCNP - Required
• CISSP - Required
