Junior Data Scientist

• Develop, train, and evaluate custom machine learning and AI models, including both supervised and unsupervised approaches.
• Apply natural language processing (NLP) techniques to extract, enrich, and analyze unstructured data.
• Improve and expand existing entity extraction processes, incorporating new entities and models to improve analytic outcomes.
• Evaluate enterprise data holdings and develop models and techniques that enrich data toward mission advantage.
• Manipulate, cleanse, and prepare structured and unstructured data for model development and analysis.
• Build data visualizations that communicate analytic findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate within an Agile delivery team, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and continuous delivery.

• 2+ years of experience with an analytical or statistical language such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Exposure to machine learning concepts, including model training and evaluation.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile development environment., Bachelor’s degree in data science or a related quantitative field with coursework or project experience in natural language processing or machine learning. Experience can be considered in lieu of education
