Job description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SAP Order Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate order processing within the SAP environment while supporting seamless collaboration between Sales, Logistics, Finance, and Customer Service. Your contribution will play a key role in driving operational excellence and delivering an outstanding customer experience., * Process and manage customer sales orders from order entry through fulfillment within SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA
- Handle order modifications, cancellations, returns, and credit/debit requests in accordance with company policies and customer requirements
- Monitor order status and proactively identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies or delivery issues
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Service, to ensure timely order execution
- Troubleshoot SAP-related issues concerning order processing, pricing, availability checks, delivery blocks, and billing
- Maintain and update customer and material master data to ensure data accuracy and process efficiency
- Generate, analyze, and report on key order management metrics such as order fulfillment, backlog, open orders, and service levels
- Support SAP system enhancements, upgrades, and process improvements by participating in testing and user acceptance activities
- Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and best practices for order management

These may include, but are not limited to, enhanced criminal history checks, credit history reviews (where legally permissible), sanctions screening, or other due diligence measures aligned with the responsibilities of the position.
The scope and depth of any background or security review will be determined based on the nature of the role and business necessity, and will always be conducted in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws. Candidates will be notified and, where required, asked to provide consent prior to the initiation of any such checks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3-5 years of professional experience in SAP Order Management, preferably within the SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) module
- Strong expertise in sales order processing, pricing, availability checks, delivery processing, and billing
- Solid understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes
- Experience with SAP master data management, including customer, material, and pricing data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for reporting and data analysis
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in German and English; SAP SD certification is considered a plus

- We offer an attractive compensation package that exceeds the minimum salary defined by the Austrian Collective Agreement for the Electrical and Electronics Industry for this position (€3,775.25 gross per month based on full-time employment) and will be agreed individually based on your qualifications and experience.
