Job description

Leading aerospace company are seeking Senior Embedded Software Developer to support expanding project in controls and bare-metal engineering within cutting edge aerospace technologies.

Requirements

Circa 10+ years in the software development life cycle, including at least 5 years within aerospace (DO-178B/C) or another safety-critical domain., * Proficiency in embedded C, bare-metal programming with microcontrollers, and familiarity with MISRA C standards.

  • Knowledge of software architecture, requirement analysis, requirement flow-down, and detail design.
  • Solid understanding of software testing methods.

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of CAN, UART, SPI eand other communication protocols,
  • Working knowledge of ARM microcontrollers, and ability to read basic electronic schematics.
  • Experience with MATLAB Simulink (model-based development), requirement/configuration management tools, and scripting in Python.
  • Understanding of control systems development, certification programmes, and compliance demonstrations - within DO178 constraints
