Job description

You’ll be joining a fast-paced, mission-focused team as a Software Engineer and Data Analyst, building and integrating solutions for a high-priority operations customer. This is hands-on work that matters - you’ll collaborate closely with Analysts, Operators, and fellow Software Engineers to bring AI/ML technologies to life and rapidly prototype capabilities that directly support the mission.

Your day-to-day will span the full software development lifecycle: eliciting requirements from stakeholders, developing automated analysis pipelines, extending existing platforms with new tools, and building the scripts and interfaces that make complex data usable. If you’re someone who thrives when the pace is high and the stakes are real, you’ll feel right at home here.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in software engineering (or 7 years of experience in lieu of a B.S. in a technical discipline)
  • B.S. in a technical discipline (or 4 additional years of experience in place of the degree)
  • Production-grade software development experience in Python or JavaScript
  • Experience with platforms, machine learning, and AI tooling
  • Experience deploying and managing production services in a fast-paced environment
  • Service containerization and deployment using Docker and/or Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)

Preferred Skills

  • Experience developing with agentic AI tooling (e.g., Claude Code, Codex)
  • Proficiency in additional programming languages such as Java or C
  • Experience prototyping web applications using JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue)
  • Experience analyzing cybersecurity-related data sets, including network traffic and OS events
  • Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems
  • Experience with production CNO capabilities and operations
