Job description

We are seeking an experienced Lead IoT & Edge Platform Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise-scale connected systems. This role will drive the evolution of intelligent, distributed, and self-optimizing platforms that connect physical devices, edge infrastructure, enterprise applications, and cloud services.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in IoT architecture, edge computing, platform integration, automation, and cloud technologies. This individual will serve as a technical leader, defining architectures across device, edge, network, and cloud layers while enabling real-time decision-making, operational resilience, and AI-driven innovation., * Design and lead enterprise IoT, edge, and cloud architectures.

Build real-time data, telemetry, and platform integration solutions.
Automate device provisioning, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
Implement secure, scalable, and compliant connected systems.
Drive AI-enabled analytics and operational improvements.
Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across teams.

Requirements

Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
8+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, IoT, edge computing, or related technical disciplines.
Proven experience designing and implementing IoT and edge architectures at scale.
Strong proficiency with Python, automation frameworks, and API development/integration.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience with real-time telemetry, data ingestion, and distributed systems.
Knowledge of networking, device connectivity, and enterprise integration patterns.
Strong understanding of security, governance, and operational best practices.
