Job description

The Senior Software Engineer I is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering complex software features and services within the organization’’s solutions. This role leads moderately to highly complex projects that improve scalability, performance, and maintainability. It owns features end-to-end, makes technical decisions, ensures well-designed APIs and data contracts, and contributes to ongoing production quality and engineering improvements.

  1. Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex software features and services.

  • Lead implementation efforts ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.

  • Drive technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.

  • Build and maintain user interfaces using modern UI frameworks including Angular, React, Blazor, and WPF.

  • Ensure well-designed, documented, and backward-compatible JSON and XML data contracts and integrations.

  • Design and evolve APIs, SDKs, and extensibility mechanisms.

  • Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and developer productivity.

  • Lead and participate in code reviews, mentoring software engineers.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Contribute to CI/CD improvements, automation, and testing strategies.

  • Own complex features end-to-end including deployment and production support.

  • Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to enhance development processes.

  • Partner with peers to diagnose and resolve production issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 4-10 years of professional software development experience.

  • Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and related frameworks.

  • Experience with UI frameworks such as Angular, React, Blazor, and WPF.

  • Deep understanding of RESTful API design and service-oriented architectures.

  • Experience designing and maintaining JSON contracts in enterprise applications.

  • Skills in performance tuning, memory management, and SQL query optimization.

  • Experience with Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Experience reviewing unit tests and ensuring test coverage.

Benefits & conditions

  1. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
  • Gross annual base salary: USD 131,000 - 170,000.

  • Additional variable compensation and benefits may apply.

  • Total compensation is based on experience, skills, and location using objective, job-related criteria.
