Job description
The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for custom Salesforce development, integration architecture, and technical platform leadership across a complex enterprise environment. The immediate focus is rebuilding a custom CPQ (Configure-Price-Quote) solution within Salesforce, followed by ownership of critical integrations between Salesforce, ServiceMax, Oracle EBS R12, and Dell Boomi., The Salesforce Developer / Technical Lead will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting Salesforce solutions that drive business operations. This individual will be responsible for rebuilding a proprietary CPQ application, developing enterprise integrations, and delivering scalable Salesforce solutions that support sales, service, and customer experience functions., <>CPQ Rebuild Project
- Assess and document the architecture of an existing custom Salesforce CPQ solution, including Apex classes, Lightning components, custom objects, workflow rules, and data models.
- Partner with the Senior Salesforce Administrator to develop a rebuild strategy and implementation roadmap.
- Reconstruct the CPQ tool in a new Salesforce environment while preserving critical business logic related to equipment configuration, pricing, margin calculations, approvals, and quoting workflows.
- Conduct user acceptance testing with stakeholders to ensure functionality and quote accuracy.
- Evaluate Salesforce CPQ and provide recommendations regarding a potential long-term replacement strategy.
<>Integration Development
- Design and develop Salesforce-to-Oracle EBS R12 integrations using Dell Boomi for order management, customer data synchronization, billing, and project cost processes.
- Build integrations between ServiceMax and Oracle EBS supporting billing, contract invoicing, spare parts management, and installed base synchronization.
- Develop and maintain Salesforce-to-Marketo integrations for marketing automation and lead lifecycle management.
- Migrate or replace legacy integration solutions as needed.
- Establish monitoring, alerting, and error-handling processes for production integrations.
<>Platform Development & Support
- Develop and maintain Apex triggers, batch jobs, scheduled processes, and Lightning Web Components.
- Implement Salesforce Flow automations to improve operational efficiency.
- Support technical configuration and enhancements within ServiceMax.
- Maintain high development standards through code reviews, testing, and deployment best practices.
- Collaborate on release management, sandbox strategy, and DevOps initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and SOQL/SOSL.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required.
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification preferred.
- Experience building or significantly customizing CPQ and quoting solutions within Salesforce.
- Hands-on experience with integration platforms such as Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, or Informatica.
- Experience developing REST and SOAP APIs and working with Salesforce integration frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, governor limits, and enterprise development best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, reverse-engineer, and rebuild complex custom applications., * ServiceMax or similar Salesforce-native field service platforms.
- Mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, or TSA exit migrations.
- Oracle EBS R12 integration experience.
- Conga Composer and Conga Sign.
- Manufacturing, warehouse automation, or industrial services environments.
- Dell Boomi Associate or Professional Developer certification.
