Job description

Working hand in hand with the IT team and other stakeholders, this role will focus on producing analysis that will drive efficiency in understanding the past performance of the business. Identifying these trends and being able to translate them into actionable recommendations which will be integral in driving through ongoing developments and improvements.

Main Responsibilities

Duties will include:

·Improve the delivery and consistency of operational performance reporting

·Analysing, synthesising, reviewing and reporting on data across multiple operational work streams. You will manage current and future demand and resource forecasts, creating reports and packs/dashboards for stakeholders.

·Prepare data queries for use in auditing, analysis, reporting and data visualisation tools like PowerBI.

·Create visualisations and dashboards to help the business better understand the output of the analysis and models and track key business KPIs.

·Audit and maintain the ongoing data demands of the system and the output to different stakeholders.

·Proactively suggest ways to visualise complex data sets, generating charts/tables that give insightful views of key business issues and opportunities.

·Perform ad hoc analyses to reconcile and interrogate data

·Maintenance and enhancements of existing technical items, including but not exclusive to customer reporting, internal processes, utilising all tools available.

·Proactively assess reports/dashboards for improvements

·Presenting metrics/reports/dashboards to internal stakeholders

·Building, developing and maintaining data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions

Requirements

·Comprehensive with data warehouse principles and data modelling.

·Proven Senior Data Analyst experience gained within an agile environment.

·Highly analytical with ability to collect, cleanse & analyse data

·Ability to visualise present & communicate data as insights

·Must be able to effectively communicate to all levels of the business

·Strong analytical and communication skills with interest in developing commercial acumen.

·Direct Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power Bi.

·Additional skills would include:

·Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with Pivot Tables, Excel Functions, Macros and basic VBA

·Knowledge of use in leveraging machine learning practices
