This is a hands?on senior individual contributor role where you will lead complex investigations, resolve business?critical production incidents, and shape technical solutions across distributed payment systems.You will operate as an L3/L4 escalation point, working across Engineering, Architecture, Product, Delivery and external partners. Beyond solving problems, you will mentor analysts, strengthen engineering processes, and actively contribute to platform stability and technical excellence.If you thrive in high?complexity fintech environments and enjoy deep system analysis combined with customer interaction, this role is for you.What you’ll be doing:Own complex incidents end-to-endLead root cause analysis across distributed systemsInvestigate cross-platform issues spanning APIs, logs, databases and integrationsDefine remediation strategies and technical recommendationsSupport and mentor junior and medior analystsDrive advanced technical analysisWork across payment platforms including processing, data flows, host connectors, settlement and reconciliationPerform impact assessments and risk analysisIdentify architectural weaknesses and improvement opportunitiesEngage with customers and partnersRepresent Engineering in customer workshops and escalationsChallenge assumptions and ensure scalable, viable integration designsProvide clear technical updates and risk assessments to stakeholdersOwn Change Requests and Product RequestsPerform impact analysis and solution designFacilitate technical workshopsSupport development, QA, FAT/UAT and pilot phasesElevate documentation standardsMaintain architectural overviews, data flow diagrams and runbooksDefine documentation quality standards across the Analyst teamRequired Skills and Experience4+ years of experience as a Technical Analyst in fintech, banking, or complex distributed systemsStrong expertise in APIs, REST, JSON/XML, and microservices troubleshootingDeep log analysis experience in AWS (CloudWatch, ECS, EC2, S3) or Kubernetes environmentsKnowledge of PCI DSS and ISO *** / ISO ** messaging standards - is nice to haveExcellent analytical thinking and the ability to explain complex issues clearlyExperience with third?party integrations in fintech environments is highly valued.Czech and English on C1 levelWhat makes this role SeniorYou work autonomously and define priorities within your domainYou act as a technical escalation pointYou propose solutions and remediation strategiesYou influence architectural and platform decisionsYou mentor others and raise the bar for analytical qualityLife at AeviBeing part of Aevi? 4+ years of experience as a Technical Analyst in fintech, banking, or complex distributed systems Strong expertise in APIs, REST, JSON/XML, and microservices troubleshooting Deep log analysis experience in AWS (CloudWatch, ECS, EC2, S3) or Kubernetes environments Knowledge of PCI DSS and ISO *** / ISO ** messaging standards - is nice to have Excellent analytical thinking and the ability to explain complex issues clearly Experience with third?party integrations in fintech environments is highly valued.
