Job description

CMS is seeking Test Engineers with systems, software, and Agile experience to support a complex program to provide Agile development and operations and maintenance for critical systems on a mission-critical program for the Federal Government. This role will support test planning and execution on an exciting new technology program from requirements definition through testing and deployment.

Leverage Test Driven Development (TDD) practices within the program’s agile framework to ensure the proper degree of engineering rigor is applied to all assigned tasks.
Interface with software developers, analysts, and other project team members using the Agile SCRUM methodology.
Be involved in analyses and the investigation of related applications engineering tasks and prepares design specifications, analysis, and recommendations.
Take active role in understanding business process behind supported applications.
Translating and interpreting functional requirements into test cases.
Perform regression testing until automated, covering full suite of Operational Test Scenarios for builds and/or images to be delivered to customer.
Develop test data to support either manual or automated testing.
Prepare test report summarizing test results including anomalies, systems errors, and configuration changes.
Support Customer Demonstration, data prep and UAT activities.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Test analysis?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, You must live within the DC, MD, VA area.

U.S. Citizenship is required-must be able to obtain CBP Public Trust clearance

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
Practical experience using SQL to perform queries for test case validation, and support data-driven decision-making
Experience with agile development and testing methodologies
Experience with frontend and backend application testing
Experience with issue/problem tracking tools, e.g., JIRA.
Excellent Communication skills

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Experience with AWS environment
Experience in Security Testing tools and practices
Technical expertise with Automated Testing
Experience effectively utilizing test automation tools like Selenium, Citrus, Cucumber
