Job description

So are we. Join Compare the Market as a Platform Delivery Manager - AI and help drive the delivery of AI use cases at pace across our business functions - turning complex opportunities into sequenced, measurable work that creates impact. At Compare the Market, we’re a purpose-driven business powered by tech and AI. We’re building high-performing, results-driven teams with the skills, mindset and ambition to deliver outcomes at pace. Every role here plays a part in driving our mission forward, and we create an environment where you can bring your authentic self, grow your career and see the direct impact of your work. We’re looking for an organised, delivery-focused individual who can shape demand into a prioritised backlog, remove blockers, manage dependencies and risks, and keep senior stakeholders clear on what’s in, what’s next and what’s not. What you’ll be doing: * Drive delivery execution across a cross functional team, sequencing work for impact and keeping momentum without adding unnecessary process overhead.

  • Run structured intake and prioritisation, balancing demand from all business functions and communicating effectively with stakeholders.

  • Own and maintain a backlog sequenced around revenue impact, business strategy and delivery capacity.

  • Partner with engineering and AI specialists to translate business opportunities into scoped, deliverable AI use cases with clear success measures.

  • Manage dependencies across teams and systems, particularly where team outputs feed other initiatives or consume shared platform capabilities.

  • Use delivery flow metrics, including lead time to value, to understand performance and identify constraints from idea to impact.

  • Give senior stakeholders clear, current visibility on pipeline, progress, risk, roadmap priorities and upcoming decisions.

  • Own visibility on the shared AI platform, tracking how individual use cases contribute to and draw on shared capabilities.

Requirements

Strong delivery execution experience, including sequencing, dependency management, risk management and maintaining pace.

  • Credibility working with engineers and AI specialists, with the confidence to discuss technical trade-offs and delivery considerations.

  • Clear communication skills across technical and commercial audiences, with the ability to create shared understanding and visibility.

  • Experience running intake and prioritisation processes where demand exceeds capacity.

  • Ability to translate business opportunities into prioritised, measurable AI initiatives.

  • Good judgement when making platform-versus-product decisions, balancing local delivery needs with reuse and standardisation opportunities.

  • Experience with agentic delivery is a plus - understanding how agents as active participants in building and testing software reshapes not just how teams deliver, but how the business itself operates.

Exposure to regulated environments, such as FCA-regulated settings, would be beneficial.

Benefits & conditions

We’re a business built for pace and performance. Here, you’ll be encouraged to think differently, act boldly, and deliver brilliantly in a culture that values results and rewards progress. We believe diverse teams make better decisions, and we’re committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels empowered to grow, contribute, and thrive. If you’re ready to stretch yourself, raise the bar, and grow with a team that’s serious about performance, innovation, and purpose, we’d love to hear from you.
