Job description

Are you an experienced Salesforce Integration Developer with a passion for building scalable, enterprise-grade solutions? We’re looking for a talented developer to join us on a 12-month contract and play a key role in the evolution of our Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) platform. Working closely with our Salesforce Technical Lead and Lead Architect, you’ll design, develop and integrate Salesforce with a range of third-party SaaS applications and internal on-premise systems, helping to deliver innovative CRM capabilities that create real value for our customers. This is a hands-on role where you’ll combine project delivery with platform support, working across the full software development lifecycle while contributing to the ongoing enhancement and stability of our Salesforce estate.

In this role, you’ll design and implement integrations using REST APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture (CDC) and other modern integration patterns, ensuring secure, scalable and high-performing solutions. You’ll analyse business requirements and translate them into robust technical designs, develop and configure Salesforce solutions using both declarative and programmatic approaches, and leverage Azure DevOps to manage deployments across user stories, enhancements and bug fixes. Alongside project work, you’ll be an integral member of the Salesforce Run and Operations team, owning incidents and BAU requests, resolving technical issues and maintaining the health of the platform.

You’ll also contribute to technical documentation, perform peer reviews, champion best practices and work collaboratively with architects, developers and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality enterprise solutions.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring at least five years’ experience as a Salesforce developer with a strong focus on customisation and integrations. You’ll have proven experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) and Salesforce Industries (Vlocity), alongside expertise in Salesforce Lightning, Flows, the Salesforce security model and platform configuration. You’ll be confident developing with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), triggers and batch classes, and have hands-on experience with OmniStudio, including OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors and Integration Procedures. A strong understanding of REST APIs, Streaming API, Platform Events and Change Data Capture is essential, as is experience implementing eID&V solutions. Experience within banking or financial services would be highly advantageous, and Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform Developer, Platform App Builder and OmniStudio Developer are welcomed.

We welcome applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences. If you’re excited by this opportunity but don’t meet every single requirement, we’d still encourage you to apply. We’re looking for talented people who are eager to learn, collaborate and make a real impact.
