Senior Java Engineer.UST is a multinational company based in North America, certified as a Top Employer company with over 35,000 employees worldwide and presence in more than 30 countries.We are leaders in digital technology services and provide large?scale technological solutions to big companies.We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer to join a cross?functional Agile team operating in a DevOps?centric environment.The role combines backend development, system design, release coordination, and production support responsibilities.You would join a strategic project with one of our global clients in the wealth management sector.Key ResponsibilitiesWork within a cross?functional Agile team following DevOps practices.Design, implement, deploy, and monitor applications ensuring robust Software Lifecycle Management (SLM).Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Participate in planning and feature refinement sessions, bridging business and technical needs.Design software solutions together with System Architects aligned with architectural standards.Lead release coordination activities, ensuring smooth deployments and dependency management.Manage L3 production support, ensuring SLA compliance for incidents and service requests.Execute IT risk mitigation activities, including audits, access controls, and risk assessments.Support System Architects in identifying and managing technical and architectural debt.Required SkillsStrong experience with Java17 and testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).Solid Computer Science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, OOP).Hands?on experience with Spring Boot3.3.x and core Spring ecosystem.Strong knowledge of relational databases, especially OracleDB19 (SQL, joins, indexing).Experience with APIs and Web Services (REST, SOAP, OpenAPI).Knowledge of real?time communication (WebSockets).Experience with messaging systems (MQ, JMS).Familiarity with frontend technologies, especially AngularJS.Experience with application servers such as Apache Tomcat.Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Octopus, Bitbucket, GitLab Actions).Proactive mindset with strong communication skills, especially with non?technical stakeholders.LocationHybrid.3 days a week in the office.Remote work policy and flexible hours during summer.BenefitsHealth Care Plan.Teleworking compensation.Life and Accident Insurances.Flexible remuneration program: meals, kindergarten, transport, online English lessons, Health Care Plan.Free access to training platforms.Professional stability and career plans.Referrals program with benefits.Work?life balance measures (flexibility, WFH or remote work, compacted hours during summertime).Discounts on UST Club Platform and gym access.#J-*****-Ljbffr

Solid Computer Science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, OOP).
