Junior UI/UX Engineer (Angular)

Alethia Software is looking for a Junior UI/UX Engineer with Angular experience to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to grow their front-end and UX skills while working alongside a collaborative, on-site team. This role is on-site 3-4 days per week, and candidates must currently live locally in the Colorado Springs area.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using Angular

Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to translate wireframes and user needs into functional UI components

Assist with UX research, prototyping, and usability improvements

Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews

1-3 years of experience working with Angular

Solid foundational understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript

Comfortable and proficient using AI tools (e.g. Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to assist with coding, but must also be able to code effectively without relying on AI

Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain/maintain a security clearance

Must reside locally in the Colorado Springs, CO area and be able to work on-site 3-4 days per week
