- Expert-level experience designing, configuring, and supporting routers, switches, and firewalls
- Advanced knowledge of BGP and OSPF design, implementation, and troubleshooting
- Experience supporting highly available, redundant, 24x7 production environments
- Strong background in TCP/IP, routing, switching, and packet analysis
- Experience leading network design initiatives and infrastructure projects
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders
- Cisco CCNP or CCIE certification required
- Experience mentoring junior and mid-level engineers
Desired Skills & Experience
- Cisco networking expertise, including ACI experience
- Fortinet firewall administration
- Palo Alto firewall administration
- SD-WAN design and implementation
- Network automation experience with Python and/or Ansible
- VMware networking experience
- Large-scale VPN and WAN support experience
- AWS networking experience
- Advanced protocol and packet analysis skills
- Complex enterprise network architecture experience
