Job description

  • Build and maintain full stack features using Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
  • Develop REST APIs and backend services with role based access control and HIPAA compliant audit logging.
  • Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases using Prisma ORM.
  • Build and maintain a Chrome Extension using Manifest V3 that integrates directly with web based EHR systems.
  • Develop and maintain Firebase Cloud Functions and other serverless backend services.
  • Work across PostgreSQL, Firestore, and BigQuery to support operational and analytical workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver patient management, reporting, and analytics features.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues across frontend, backend, browser extension, database, and cloud environments.
  • Ensure application performance, reliability, scalability, and security when handling Protected Health Information.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining a high quality TypeScript codebase.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with TypeScript.
  • Strong experience building applications with React and Next.js.
  • Experience building full stack applications with Node.js.
  • Experience developing Chrome Extensions using Manifest V3.
  • Experience with Prisma ORM.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
  • Experience designing and building REST APIs.
  • Experience with Firebase Cloud Functions or other serverless platforms.
  • Experience debugging complex issues across frontend, backend, database, and browser environments.
  • Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with BigQuery and data analytics pipelines.
  • Experience building cross platform desktop applications with Electron.
  • Experience integrating LLMs such as Claude, OpenAI, or Gemini.
  • Experience building speech to text or AI powered workflows.
  • Experience with healthcare technology, including EHR integrations.
  • Experience with Firebase, Google Cloud Platform, and Firestore.
  • Experience with Rust for performance sensitive components, browser tooling, or systems programming.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and secure handling of healthcare data.
