- Databases: Strong SQL experience; NoSQL not required.
- IaC and CI/CD: Proficient in concepts and daily use of automated pipelines.
- Observability: A higher priority than scalability; code must be well-instrumented and traceable.
- Scalability: Understands how to design systems that can grow effectively.
- Leadership: Supports and mentors junior engineers; leads smaller initiatives.
- Must communicate clearly and confidently in English.

- AI Tooling Proficiency: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
