Database Architect

Innovative Tech Solutions Inc is looking for a talented Database Architect to join our growing team in Woodlyn, MD! In this critical role, you’ll design and optimize the data infrastructure that powers our cutting-edge technology products. If you’re passionate about building scalable, high-performance database systems, we want to hear from you., * Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level database architectures and data models

• Evaluate and implement database technologies including relational, NoSQL, and cloud-based solutions
• Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing strategies, and schema design
• Collaborate with software engineers and stakeholders to define data requirements and solutions
• Establish and enforce database standards, best practices, and governance policies
• Lead database migration, integration, and modernization initiatives
• Monitor database health, security, and disaster recovery planning

• 5+ years of experience in database architecture, design, or administration
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
• Experience with cloud database platforms (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud Spanner)
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred

$60 - $75 an hour - Full-time
