Job description

Innovative Tech Solutions Inc is looking for a talented Database Architect to join our growing team in Woodlyn, MD! In this critical role, you’ll design and optimize the data infrastructure that powers our cutting-edge technology products. If you’re passionate about building scalable, high-performance database systems, we want to hear from you., * Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level database architectures and data models

Evaluate and implement database technologies including relational, NoSQL, and cloud-based solutions
Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing strategies, and schema design
Collaborate with software engineers and stakeholders to define data requirements and solutions
Establish and enforce database standards, best practices, and governance policies
Lead database migration, integration, and modernization initiatives
Monitor database health, security, and disaster recovery planning

Requirements

5+ years of experience in database architecture, design, or administration
Proficiency in SQL and experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
Experience with cloud database platforms (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud Spanner)
Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts
Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred

Benefits & conditions

$60 - $75 an hour - Full-time
