Job description

We are seeking a Database Infrastructure Engineer to design, maintain, and optimize enterprise database environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, Azure Cloud, Windows Server, PowerShell, and SSIS, with a strong focus on automation, performance tuning, database security, and high availability., * Design, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases, Windows Servers, and Azure Cloud infrastructure.

  • Automate database administration tasks using PowerShell, SSIS, and T-SQL.
  • Manage SQL Server Agent jobs, ETL processes, backups, maintenance, and health checks.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance, indexing, and query execution.
  • Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions.
  • Troubleshoot database, server, hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, data governance, and user access controls.
  • Support application deployments, IIS administration, and collaborate with development and infrastructure teams.
  • Document processes and recommend improvements to database infrastructure and automation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Windows Server, and Azure Cloud.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell, SSIS, and T-SQL scripting.
  • Experience with database performance tuning, backups, disaster recovery, and automation.
  • Knowledge of storage, networking, cloud infrastructure, and database security.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Azure SQL Database, Azure Virtual Machines, SQL Server Agent.
  • IIS Administration, ETL development, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with .NET applications, Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.

Preferred Certifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate.
  • Microsoft SQL Server or other Azure-related certifications.
