SAGE Systems Administrator and Business Systems Specalist

The ideal candidate will have strong experience administering enterprise financial applications, working closely with finance and accounting teams, troubleshooting application issues, supporting integrations, and assisting with data migrations. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in transitioning an ERP implementation into a sustainable operational environment while helping improve processes across a rapidly growing organization.

ResponsibilitiesFinancial ERP Administration

• Serve as the primary administrator for the organization’s financial ERP environment.
• Manage user accounts, security roles, permissions, and application access.
• Configure and maintain system settings to support evolving business needs.
• Troubleshoot application issues and resolve functional problems.
• Support finance and accounting users with day-to-day system questions.
• Maintain application stability while supporting organizational growth.

ERP Implementation Support

• Work alongside the existing ERP implementation team to complete ongoing implementation efforts.
• Learn the current system architecture, configuration, and business processes.
• Participate in implementation activities and configuration updates.
• Help transition the ERP environment from implementation into ongoing operational support.
• Document processes and ensure knowledge transfer from implementation consultants.

Data Migration & Acquisition Onboarding

• Support the integration of newly acquired organizations into the financial systems environment.
• Extract and prepare data from legacy financial systems.
• Perform data mapping, validation, and migration into the ERP platform.
• Coordinate with finance stakeholders to validate migrated data.
• Troubleshoot migration issues and data discrepancies.
• Assist with user provisioning and application readiness.
• Support retirement of legacy finance applications.
• Identify opportunities to improve and standardize onboarding processes.

Enterprise Applications & Integration Support

• Support additional finance applications within the enterprise ecosystem.
• Troubleshoot application and integration issues across multiple business systems.
• Monitor data movement between enterprise applications.
• Investigate integration failures and coordinate resolution.
• Work from existing integration documentation to identify root causes.

Reporting & Analytics

• Build and maintain standard ERP reports.
• Assist finance users with reporting requests.
• Support reporting enhancements that improve visibility into financial data.

Business Systems Analysis

• Partner with finance and accounting teams to understand business processes and identify system improvements.
• Translate business requirements into functional system solutions.
• Recommend process improvements and help standardize workflows across the organization.
• Document procedures, system changes, and best practices.

Project Coordination

• Assist with implementation timelines and onboarding activities.
• Coordinate work across IT, finance, vendors, and external partners.
• Track project tasks, dependencies, risks, and status updates.
• Help ensure successful completion of implementation and acquisition initiatives.

• Experience administering or supporting a financial ERP platform.
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting business processes.
• Experience managing users, roles, permissions, and application security.
• Experience troubleshooting enterprise application issues.
• Knowledge of enterprise application integrations and data flow between systems.
• Understanding of APIs and system integration concepts.
• Experience with data mapping, migration, or conversion activities.
• Experience supporting ERP implementations or major system enhancements.
• Ability to work directly with finance and accounting stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to learn new applications quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

• Experience with Sage Intacct administration or implementation.
• Experience supporting Ramp or similar finance applications.
• Experience onboarding acquired businesses or supporting M&A system integrations.
• Experience building ERP reports and dashboards.
• Project coordination or project management experience.
